Thus we are unable to release information about grades, attendance, financial information, health/counseling or disciplinary records, etc. without permission from your student. This information may be released WITHOUT the student's written permission. However, the student may opt to consider this information as confidential as well. If your student does not want directory information released, he/she must sign a waiver in the Registrar’s Office. While MCC does consider email address directory information, it is currently only provided to internal offices and organizations for official business.
Only certain information can be released to parents regarding their son/daughter's financial or academic records. The Privacy Act exists to protect your students right to confidentiality and limits our release of information to you. However, parents can obtain financial aid and billing information with the consent of their student by signing a waiver in the Business Office and the Financial Aid Office. Academic information waivers can be obtained from the Registrars Office.
