MCC Takes Final Game of Series against Arlington

Arlington Baptist College wasn't able to come back from the big hole it dug itself into against MCC Crusaders, and Arlington Baptist College lost 5-3 to MCC after falling behind by four runs in the sixth inning.The top of the first saw Arlington Baptist College take an early lead, 1-0. Moon tripled to start things off before Wagley singled, plating Moon. Trey Shelton put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for MCC.  He singled in the second inning, tripled in the third inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.   The Crusaders never surrendered the lead after the third inning, scoring one run on an RBI triple by Trey.   MCC tacked on one more run in the bottom of the fifth when Cody Jones stole home.  The Crusaders built upon its lead with two runs in the sixth. Blake Ware started the inning with a single, scoring Trey. Arlington Baptist College scored two runs in the seventh on an RBI single by Moreno. Still, Arlington Baptist College couldn't catch MCC.
