The MCC men went on the road Saturday and defeated Baptist Bible College 87-65. MCC got off to a strong start and opened up a 23-13 lead midway through the first half, however Baptist Bible put together an 18-6 run to take a 31-29. At the half BBC held a 40-37 lead.
In the second half MCC went on a 13-4 run to take a 50-44 lead that they would never relinquish. MCC shot 65% from the field in the second half, on their way to out scoring BBC 50-25. Five Crusaders reached double figures led by Sage Ruis and Will Chisam who each scored 19 points. Lonnie Penner and Eric Bolduc each added 13 points and Alex Hammack chipped in with 11 points.
MCC is now 9-7 overall on the season, and they are 2-0 in region play. The Crusaders will be back in action next Friday as they go on the road to take on Conference rival Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri
