Flint Hills Masterworks Chorale 20th Anniversary Concert

The Flint HIlls Masterworks Chorale is a community choir sponsored by MCC and this semester has approximately 75 members. Dr. Reginald Pittman, head of the Kansas State University voice division, is the director. The featured works on this concert to celebrate its 20th season will be Requiem Mass in C Minor by Cherubini and Aesop's Fables by Chilcott. A reception for all will follow in the church Fellowship Hall. There is no admission charge, but donations to help defray expenses of the performance are welcome.

Bible Study Tour

A unique Bible study opportunity is coming to the High Plains region.

March 2-5, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in a different church each night, MCC Adult Education Director Brody Bliss will teach the books of 1 & 2 Peter, James, and 1 John.

Whether you consider yourself a serious student of the Bible or someone who needs help knowing how to apply the Bible to your life, you will find this series to be challenging and practical.

Perspectives Course Begins

The national course, Perspectives on the World Christian Movement, begins tonight at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 1921 Barnes Road. This course is also offered for academic credit at Manhattan Christian College (HIS 455). Individuals interested in taking the course can register on the Perspectives website: www.perspectives.org

Praise & Worship Christmas

Join us as we sing beloved carols, as we gather around the Lord’s Table, and as we focus on the real reason for the season. This praise and worship service, under the direction of Dr. Genilyn McCaffrey, will illuminate our desire to celebrate and worship the Christ Child.

Western Fellowship of Professors and Scholars 2013 Conference

Since 2006, this annual event has promoted research, discussion, and academic fellowship on issues relating to the Christian faith. The upcoming conference, "The Early Christians and their Scriptures" will be October 4-5, 2013 and held on the MCC campus.
