MCC Wins Conference Tournament

KANSAS CITY, MO - The MCC women’s basketball team captured the Midwest Christian College Conference Tournament Championship this past weekend. In the semi-finals the ladies defeated the #4 seed Calvary Bible College and then in the Championship game they defeated Grace University. This is the first tournament championship for the ladies since 2006. Brianna Helfrich was named MVP of the Conference, Whitney Stotts was selected 2nd Team All-Conference and Charity Zemke was named Honorable Mention All-Conference.
