Lauren Sanders
Women's Volleyball Coach

Lauren Sanders is the head coach for Manhattan Christian College Lady Crusaders. Coach Sanders had been at MCC for three seasons with an overall record of 70-33.

In 2007, the Lady Crusaders finished with an overall record of 31-6. MCC was 10-3 in the Midwest Christian College Conference regular season, finishing second in the Conference. They also finished second in the MCCC Tournament. They were the NCCAA Central Region Champions for the second time in school history, going undefeated in Regional games. Coach Sanders was also named the Central Region Coach of the Year. The Lady Crusaders made their third showing at the NCCAA II National Championship Tournament, where they finished in fifth place.

Coach Sanders’ goal is “Reaching for Excellence.” She plans to continue to work to build a strong, competitive program that will always be reaching for excellence, on and off the court.

Before coming to MCC, Coach Sanders played for the Sterling College volleyball team. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Nutrition from Kansas State University. She has attended the Gold Medal Squared Coaching Program as well as received her IMPACT coaching certification. Coach Sanders currently works for the Student Development department at MCC as the Retention and Learning Skills Coordinator.
