Brody ('04) and Julie (Taylor, '04) Bliss are brand new parents in CO. The little boy came into the world May 1, 2007. Remington Patrick Bliss weighed in at 7 lbs 5 oz. Brody is now a 1st Lt. and is the chaplain for a battalion. He has 15 credit hours of school before he graduates. He says he knows that the chaplaincy is for him.

Bryan ('02) and Melissa (Johnson, '01 & '02) Boutz would like to announce the birth of their daughter, JoyAnne (Annie) Ruth, born February 21, 2005, 7 lbs 12 oz, 20 inches long. She is welcomed home by her big brother, Isaiah Raymond, (born December 23, 2002). Bryan is the Assistant Systems Coordinator for the K-State Controller’s Office, and Melissa is a stay-at-home mom and the Music Minister at Zeandale Community Church. Aaron (‘04) and Sina (current LEAD) Brent are the proud parents of a baby boy born April 28, 2008. Aaron Matthew Brent, Jr. weighed 6 lbs. 7oz. and was 19 inches long. They are going to call him A.J.

Jason (‘03) and Angie (Murray, ‘01) Brent live in Topeka, KS. Jason is the Bible teacher at Heritage Christian School in Topeka. Stacey Brown ('03) was married to Brian Gibson of Memphis, TN on August 13, 2005 in Joplin, MO. Stacey joined Team Expansion’s Home Office after her graduation and spent a year serving in Bosnia-Hercegovina. The Gibson’s plan to reside in Joplin while Brian finishes his degree at Ozark Christian College. After Brian’s graduation, they plan to serve overseas full time. Kevin ('03) and Lori (Hustead, attended) Daniels are now living in the Seattle area where Kevin is working as an Associate Pastor at Valley View Christian Church and is also pursuing his Master of Divinity degree from Mars Hill Graduate School. He will graduate in August, 2007. Lori is working as an Assistant Director at a local day care. They welcomed a new baby boy in their family on March 15, 2006. Logan Michael was only 5 lbs when he was born and had to spend the first five days of his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Jamie Davis ('03) married Allan Cooper on March 18, 2006.  The Cooper’s live in Topeka, KS. Nathan Fiedler ('04) was hired in March 2006 by Mesa Airlines which operates as United Express, U.S. Airways Express, America West Express, and Delta Connection. Steve ('07) and Melanie Horton ('99) reside in Manhattan, KS. Melanie is working as the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the College of Business at Kansas State University. Prior to her work at KSU she served Manhattan Christian College as the Executive Assistant to the President for more than 8 years. Steve completed his MCC degree and is employed at Irwin Army Community Hospital at Fort Riley for the Company Commander (Captain) and the First Sergeant senior enlisted in the company, for the Medical Company that is in support of about 325 officers and enlisted soldiers. Shawn ('02) and Susan (Kirby, '02) Inchaustegui have decided to pursue their dream of pioneering at Christian sports camp in Mexico. They will be moving to Branson where Shawn will attend the Kanakuk Institute for an intensive 9 month Masters Degree program. They will then move to Florida where preparation for the mission field will continue. After that the Inchausteguis will be living in Mexico launching a camping ministry and serving as full-time missionaries abroad. Shawn and Susan are available at shawninch@ruraltel.net.

Rachel Keeton (‘01) is now working in administration at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Bethesda, MD.

Robin (Renner, '04) Kejr is currently working at the Pregnancy Service Center in Salina, KS where she is also residing. She was just recently hired and moved from a voluntary position to the Client Service Coordinator. Robin and Brent are still praying and moving forward in the process of serving in oversees missions. The were in Peru in October. They will know more when the time and place are right.

Becki (Herrington, '03) and husband Gregory Malloy celebrated the birth of their first child, Jackson William. Jackson was born on March 20, 2006 weighing 6 pounds 12 ounces and measuring 20 inches long. The Malloy's live in Phoenix, AZ where Greg is the pastor of Outreach and Evangelism at a local church while Becki enjoys staying at home with their new son.

Ben ('02) and Jessica (Abbott, '02) Perry are currently living in Delaware. Jessica is finishing up her master's degree in Health Awareness and Promotion at the University of Delaware. Ben is a senior scientist at Quantum Leap Innovations and is pursuing a PhD in computer science at UDel. They’re both actively involved in a local church as part of the worship ministry team. No little ones, unless you count their dog "Yankee".

Spence ('00) and Renée (Campbell, attended) Powers along with their daughter, Natalie Anne, are excited to welcome the happiest little boy in the world: David Maverick who was born on November 19, 2007. In addition to that, the Powers family is closing out a seven and a half year preaching ministry in Liberal, KS to begin an associate ministry with their home church in Montrose, CO, starting in April of 2008.
