Marcus Myer

Year- Sophomore

Major/Minor- Pastoral Ministry

Hometown - Spring Hill, KS

My aspiration (goals, vision) ... I plan on becoming a pastor, hopefully planting a church somewhere at some point, and also to write, whether it could be many times or just once.

My inspiration (heroes, models) ... My father, past youth ministers, family, and friends surrounding me.

How I got to MCC ... MCC is located in such an awesome place, a community of diversity between schools in which there are so many people to connect with. The dual-degree program between MCC and KSU really drew me in. It’s a program not found in many places across the nation. Recently, I have decided to drop my major at KSU and focus solely on Pastoral Ministry at MCC. However, the dual degree program is great and I would still proudly support anyone to look into it.

What I've learned ... I’ve learned a ton about this school, its passion and mission, and how important it is in the lives of its students as we go out to change the world for Christ.

When I'm not in class ... I love spending time with people. Going to movies, walking and talking, playing video games, and attending KSU sport events.

Why I am an Ambassador ... MCC has definitely blessed me and will continue to as I spend the next couple of years here. Ambassadors is a way for me to give back and show appreciation by representing the college and reaching out to others through it.
