Dave SchuffThe featured speaker will be Steve Likens, Senior President of Nations Holdings Company and co-owner of the Kansas City Brigade Arena Football franchise.  Nations Holdings Company, founded in 1996, is comprised of 70 separate companies with a current average of $300 million in sales.  The core business includes title insurance, escrow closings, appraisals, foreclosure legal work, and retail internet. The Kansas City Brigade Arena Football team is partially owned by the Likens family and former NFL defensive end Neil Smith.

An influential and respected business leader in Missouri and Kansas, Likens is heavily involved in numerous civic and community outreach programs.  He supports organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters acting as advocate, mentor and advisor. He has devoted countless hours at the St. Louis City Juvenile Detention Center mentoring at risk youth and has contributed substantially to the developmental needs of young people by providing foster care for 36 children during the past 7 years, and has even adopted a child from the foster care system. Likens has a long history of involvement in a variety of programs that promote sustainable livelihoods in area communities and demonstrates exceptional commitment to community service, charity and diversity.
