Leonard Sweet has long been an
advocate of the attempt to contextualize Christianity
into modern American culture. As an author, preacher,
scholar, and ordained United Methodist clergyperson,
he has published numerous scholarly articles and
sermons. Sweet currently serves as the
E. Stanley Jones Professor of Evangelism at Drew
Theological School in Madison, New Jersey. He is
also founder and president of SpiritVenture Ministries,
which focuses on the study of Semiotics. Sweet
has twice been voted as One of the 50 Most Influential Christian Leaders in America. |
