Nicci Larson Nicci Larson
Year: Junior
Major: Family Ministry and Nursing
Hometown: Ellsworth, KS
My Aspirations: I have a HUGE passion to work with women and teens with self esteem issues or past abuse and trauma experiences. I want to change the way women view themselves despite their pasts and especially despite all the worldly definitions we are filled with today.
My Inspirations: My mom is a great woman who has taught me her strength and courage in life. I also admire any woman who may fall but is strong enough to get back up and continue fighting for her goals and dreams.
How I got to MCC: MCC is my third college; I've transferred many times. However, I'm completely satisfied here and love the education and experiences I'm gaining. I came to MCC to further my walk and relationship with Jesus Christ, pursue a degree in ministry and explore my faith deeper than I ever had before.
What I've learned: I have learned to form my own opinions based on research and exploration of the Word. In other words, I have learned to study the Word of God in an informed way and then decide what my beliefs are, rather than just allowing others to tell me what to believe. I love really digging deep and seeing what and how the Lord is speaking!
When I'm not in class: I'm working … a lot! Or, working out.
Why I am an Ambassador:
I really wanted to further my leadership experience on campus and also in the community; I thought serving on Ambassadors was a great way to accomplish that. I also love working with people and seeing how other communities work. I'm excited to visit churches and see how they operate compared to what I've normally seen in my own church!

Ben Field Ben Field
Year: Sophomore
Major: Dual-Degree: Bible at MCC and Communication Studies at KSU
Hometown: Tonganoxie, KS
My Aspirations: When finished at MCC, I want to be a youth pastor and someday pastor a church.
My Inspirations: My parents Gene and Pam Field, my grandpa Ed, Jed Fuller, Chuck Riddle, and Reggie Epps.
How I got to MCC: I came up for Timothy Days and realized that this is where God wanted me to be!
What I've learned: Procrastinating is not the way to go at the college level!
When I'm not in class: I love hanging out with friends, running and watching KU basketball [sic].
Why I am an Ambassador: I love MCC and having the opportunity to meet new people and give back to the churches who help make it possible for me to come to MCC is an awesome experience!

Adam Evans Adam Evans
Year: Sophomore
Major/Minor: Youth Ministry/Worship Ministry
Hometown: Council Bluffs, IA
My Aspirations: I want to be a Youth and Worship Pastor at a church.
My Inspiration: My older brother is probably my biggest role model and mentor. He's always been so grounded in his faith, and is always reading and studying the Word.
How I got to MCC: KSU got me looking at Manhattan. When my parents and I were heading home from a visit I noticed Manhattan Christian College. I checked it out, found out about the dual-degree program, and felt God leading me to pursue it. He then put on my heart about half-way through my freshman year to pursue full-time ministry.
What I've learned: God really does work in mysterious ways! He might use one event or avenue in your life to lead you toward a path you would have never considered, but as long as you're following Him, nothing can take away your joy!
When I'm not in class: You can usually find me hanging out with friends, watching movies, playing video games, or playing guitar or piano.
Why I am an Ambassador: It's not only a way for me to give back to MCC in a positive way, but it's a chance for me to go outside my comfort zone, fellowship with some great people, and possibly form some great relationships with the Christian community outside of MCC. It is also a great experience for me to share in ministries that I will be doing in the future.

Allision Smith Allison Smith
Year: Senior
Major: Dual-degree: Bible/Elementary Education at KSU
Hometown: Wichita, KS
My Aspirations: I'd like to teach in a low-income school. I believe that as a teacher I'll be able to show Christ's love to kids who don't get it from anyone else.
My Inspirations: My family has continually set an example for me and always pushes me to keep doing my best.
How I got to MCC: I remember meeting MCC Camp Teams every summer and wanting to come here. I heard about the dual-degree program and was sold!
What I've learned: I have learned so much about the importance of community in a Christian's life. I have been amazed with the people I have met, how each one of them has a different story about how God has used them, and how God has used each one of them to teach me.
When I'm not in class: I am hanging out with friends, watching Boy Meets World, canoeing or eating fruit snacks!
Why I am an Ambassador: I have been so blessed to have been a part of this school for the past three years and want to thank those who have helped make that possible.
