ADVANCED  PLACEMENT
COURSE CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES AT
MANHATTAN CHRISTIAN COLLEGE

The Advanced Placement test is one way to earn college credit by examination.  These tests are given by the College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB) in May, in high schools offering advanced placement courses.

If you have completed any of the following CEEB Advanced Placement tests and would like to receive credit at Manhattan Christian College, you should have the Educational Testing Service (ETS) forward an official report of your scores to the Office of Admissions at MCC. To order reports, you must provide ETS with the year the Advanced Placement Exam was taken, subject of the exam, your birthdate or Social Security number. An $8 fee is assessed by ETS for official copies of exam reports.

Requests should be sent to: Advanced Placement Program, P.O. Box 6671, Princeton, NJ  08541-6671. Their phone number is: 1-609-771-7300.

Scores of 5, 4, or 3 are granted credit as indicated below. No credit is given for scores of 2 or 1.

COLLEGE CREDIT WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL
If you are taking classes in high school that are also college level course work (i.e. will appear on a transcript from a college) you may transfer those courses to MCC. You must have a grade of "C" or better for those classes to transfer. This does not change your status as a 'first-time freshman' for financial aid purposes or MCC student policies. If you have questions about transferring specific classes or other related questions, don't hesitate to contact us: toll free: 1-877-2GO-4MCC or by e-mail at: admit@mccks.edu
