Worship Ministry

MCC's music program has been redesigned to better meet the changing needs of the churches that our students will serve. Through discussion with currently serving music ministers and senior pastors we have crafted a program that will prepare graduates to work effectively as leaders of worship teams. The worship program may also be competed as a part of a course of study with another major. It is also possible to add a major from Kansas State University and complete a dual-degree with worship emphasis. The program is very practical in nature and those on it are encouraged to remain active as worship leaders on and off campus throughout their time at MCC.

There is opportunity to develop and hone skills in worship leading through Worship Teams and our drama team, A Different View. Worship Teams lead worship in chapel each week, and worship and drama teams minister off campus in local churches and youth groups as requested each semester.
