The links above provide students and interested parties access to sites and files necessary to meet several academic requirements (DFE, Christian Service, etc.).
Logos Bible Software is required of all degree-seeking students, and students taking many Bible courses. Student who enroll in BIB 112 or BIB 113 will be charged a $335 book fee and Logos.com will send them a software download link to their MCC e-mail account. MCC students receive the software at the 50% academic discount. Students purchasing Logos Bible Software on their own should choose the 'Bronze' or better edition.
The Christian Service link provides direct access to the web edition of the Christian Service Handbook with links to several directories of associated organizations and ministries that partner with MCC for fulfillment of the Christian Service requirement.
The Directed Field Experience (DFE) link provides information for organizations who are providing student ministry experiences. This information will help you decided whether your ministry opportunity qualifies as an academic DFE or an internship. Handbooks and forms for students and supervisors (.pdf) are also available.
MCC facilitates a number of accommodations and services for students with documented disabilities. The nature and type of academic accommodations vary from student to student and are dependent upon the student's disability and the academic requirements. It is the responsibility of the student to initiate the process. The student’s instructors will be informed of the student’s documented disability and what accommodations have been deemed appropriate. For assistance, the student needs to contact the Study Skills/Retention Coordinator in the Student Development Office.
